Which brand of dermal fillers do you use?
Maddie uses the highest quality Juvederm and Teoxane products in her treatments. The exact product used will depend on the area being treated.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Depending on the product used and the area treated fillers can last between 6-12 months, some up to 15 months
How many mls do I need?
A full facial assessment will be carried out at your consultation and the amount of filler required will be agreed With you before treatment takes place. For a first time lip enhancement and to achieve a natural Enhancement we would recommend 1ml.
How do dermal fillers work?
Hyaluronic acid fillers when injected fill the area where there is volume loss this improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and has an immediate volumising effect. Hyaluronic acid attracts water which creates a plumper more hydrated appearance.
Are there any side effects of dermal fillers?
The most common side effects include swelling, bleeding, bruising and redness. As with any injectable procedure there is a risk of infection which is why we have strict hygiene standards in clinic. Side effets including more serious complications will be thoroughly explained before your treatment.
Is there anything I need to do after the treatment?
Full verbal and written aftercare will be provided before you leave clinic, we also offer a dedicated aftercare service should you have any questions or concerns.
